On Saturday 25th Feb, our under 14's girls took to the field against Bayside Tigers in the SWF league cup.
The girls settled quickly and created a host of chances early in the first half with M.Hynd, A.Milne & L.Crawford all coming close in the early exchanges but Bayside determined not to go behind kept the ball out & started to settle and create chances of their own.

Bellvue eventually broke the deadlock late in the first half with a great team move slotted home by E.Hynd.

Into the second half the game continued with both teams putting on a show, Bayside broke free of the Bellvue defence and equalised narrowly beating the on rushing L.Drummond.

Full time whistle ended the match at 1-1 in normal time.

Extra time continued at the same pace with both teams pushing hard but it was Bellvue who scored, A.Hendry pouncing on a lose ball inside the box and managing to slot the ball beyond the keeper.

A fantastic match and a great result, thanks to everyone who made the trip to support the girls.
